The next workout consists of four 1-hour workouts. Sessions are held in small groups, and experienced and current pro basketball players will train students to play professional games and hone their skills. There is a one-month registration fee of $125 for this training program.
Eight 1-hour small group sessions make up the third basketball training program. This program is also coached by veteran and current professional basketball players. Sessions for this program are conducted daily and participants in this program enjoy a flexible schedule to accommodate their availability. The registration fee for this program is $200 and is valid for a full month.
During the training program, young players learn important aspects of the basketball game individually and in team play. Traditional basketball training practices include handling the ball, getting to the rim, and turning dribbling shooting on and off. Dynasty Camp trainees also learn about the mental aspects of the game. Training also includes a focus on preparing players for game conditions, recognizing the defensive set and where the defense is weakest, using gameplay to throw the opponent off balance, getting a feel for the flow of the game and whatnot has to be done in order to be successful. Coach Johnson echoes the words of basketball legend Kobe himself:
